started on the sill skin today offered it up welded and buffed the bottom welded up and buffed up the inside the new skin didnt come up far enough so added a strip joggeled the edges an taked in

Good work on the sills - I've been meaning to get myself a joddler/joggler/flange tool for a wee while now , seems to make it all a bit easier

no wasnt this one ive had it for a few years now never done much to it till this time last year! joggler is a great tool mines a air opperated one great for joinin the sills and arches.

got the other sill on now and buffed up it was easier to put on it reached up to join onto the quarter panel no need to add a strip in just joggled the joint an tacked for now started workin on the arches there off a kadett d so there gona need a bit of fidlin to get right, this is the original and this the kadett d its only screwed on to see what the fit is like it gives a bit more clearance to

got this arch tacked on tonight had to do a bit of hammer an dolly work to make it fit its not far away now

not much of an update got this during the week its out of a manta b its almost 3 inches wider than the origanal so it should fill out my arches nicely!

not got alot done this week got this arch into shape just need a skim of filler and it'll be grand! threw a bit of primer on to cover the bare metal! still have the inner bit to go on yet!

yea have the arches sittin here for them! not be doin them for a while yet get the chassis all sorted first

cant believe im sayin this but its finaly ready for blastin its booked in next week blast and prime thats how it looks now with all underseal and sound proof removed! wonderin should i reinforce the rear axle mounts do they ever break there perfectly sound and all any ideas? thats the bit i mean!

wouldn't have thought so unless you're going to rally it. mines running an xe with manta a axle, obviously using the original kadett mounts, and i've had no probs so far and i drive it hard. (often bottoming out the suspension on the country roads near me, haha). good progress there mate. it would'nt hurt i guess, to beef up with a bit of extra weld while you've got it on its side tho..

not goin rallyin it'l get a bit of stick the odd time though! i aint puttin mad power in it but ya never know down the line! might put a bit weld on them and a couple of extra plates just to be sure!
