Could be BOB on the Totalopel forum in Ireland, I know he is rebuilding a green car, but the buildings do not look familiar so I could be wrong.

Ummmm This is mine ;D , I was doing it myself but had more money then time and after speaking to the guys at Retro, and seeing what they had done with the white turbo Kadett, i had to give to them to finish.

if not, why not post it up in the projects section?..
could you tell us if it will stay the same colour and if you intend going to billing this year.

oh it's not a secret, but i've always had a DIY type attitude to car conversions and i'm feeling a little embarrassed that i'm paying some else to do it  But in my defence if i'd not farmed it out it would have just sat on the drive for the next couple of years. New colour'll be a Ford gunmetal grey and as for Billing, if the cars finish yes. If your arranging a group to go there let me know  |

hey, no shame in having a professional job done for you! i did the same with my white one, as i wanted to start attending billing last year, and as you said, i'd probably still be finishing it now if i'd done it myself. to be honest, it would still be the easy option for me to do a bit of overtime at work, and pay to have my red one done for me, but i'm trying to put a bit more into it myself. there will be a handfull of us going to billing this year and we'd love it if you could make it in your car. more kadetts, the better! ;D their white kadett turbo looks nuts, i'm impressed. |
