seems to make sense rather than starting again with another, after all you've put into it up to now.
better the devil.
wouldn't be difficult to do either, maybe do it when the time comes for the paint job?

do it! you dont need to change the front panel just mount the indicators on a braket on the bumper (unless it needs the panel)
take it your gonna paint this one orange? ;D
any front panels for sale? not at a silly price.

replace thermostat today, as my car runs at the start off the blue running, little higher around town in traffic, partly due to 4mm holes i drilled into thermostat as bypass, but was too much, car now runs at white line before red, which is around 79 deg according too my laptop, runs nice and warm inside which is nice at the min, drops down to middle when you give it some gas, so cools nicely when pushed.
