Hi guys, i've been thinking the unthinkable recently.....
Thing is, i do a fair amount of driving (visit my brother who lives a fair way away) in my kadett and i've started putting some noticeable miles on the clock, (it was 29000 when i got it in 2006, now its 38000) i've also noticed things like the seat padding on the drivers seat is wearing away, and there's been stuff i've wanted to do to it for ages now, like re-spray the wheels, stop the engine from choking when it gets to winter (still not figured that one out) and most importantly, i don't want to run it into the ground, i had it re-sprayed myself recently, but i've noticed a part of rust come through already on the drivers side front wing. I'm wondering what people think, if i should sell it and get something newer, more boring and with probably less character, or if you think I'm getting worried about nothing, and should just save up to do the stuff i want to do and keep it going. I have thought about looking at getting a second car, but i am only 20 and insurance is enough for one. I think that ultimately i don't want to sell it, but i also don't want to rack up the miles and run it into the ground, any thoughts?
Joe
P.s, i've noticed the irish are after them for some reason? i don't want for them to end up with it!
