well you all seen it on ebay, now ive had it a couple of months il post up some pics. they aint very good pics as my garage is tiny and the car is on a spit. the car as it was when i collected it. sat in a damp barn for 7 years. but suprisingly mint! started on the boot floor as its the only place that had rot in the corner. cut out awating panel. stich welding, lttle patch welded in.

wire brush in a drill, its well quicker than the grinder with a knoted wheel. ive got the repair panel you can see it in the background of the chassis leg pic. i bought both sides from that place youve linked to, rapid delivery from germany.

make it mint, then i was going to put a redtop in it. but its going to work out cheaper and easier to put a nissan turbo engine/box in.

contenplated nissan turbo for my red kadett, but then i bought a full redtop package from a guy upgrading his manta to v8, for £800. all i need is an axle. i know what you mean though, when you need the sump etc from the manta 1.8 they go for daft money. looking forward to watching this one, as it looks like you've done a top job on your astras mate. keep up the good work-and take plenty of pics for us!
