hi everyone, and merry christmas. im alex, im from wrexham in north wales. i have a '77 kadett c saloon in pastel blue, well, it was pastel blue, now multi coloured. ive owned the car for about 4-5 years now. its got a calibra turbo motor just shy of 300 brake at the wheels, omega box, simitar axle and power loc diff, coilovers. still a work in progress. good to see the kadett c growing in popularity as it always appears to be in the chevette's shadow. ill try and get a build thread up in the next few days Attachments:

hi there and welcome.
your car is well known mate, good to have you join us at last. a build thread would be great, only saw a bit of it once, dont know where i was either-might have been migweb. there shouldn't be any problems with posting more than one picture, how are you doing it? most common way is photobucket i think..
saw it at billing. is it staying rat look or getting painted

yeah i have the first build thread on mig before i changed all the transmission and suspension, i was using the add photo via the browse upload, ill use p.bucket from now on. my intention was never for it to be ratty. it was rubbed down for paint but a friend let me down, and as i had put all my money into making it drive right i couldnt afford to do it. ill get the shows done this year then its a full strip down and paint over winter

hey, thanks for the kind comments. im still undecided on colour, last year i was thinking candy blue or red with a silver top, similar layout to the broadspeed mk1 escorts, now im thinking standard colour or orange. ill probably change my mind again before then.

no bonnet sorry. Yeah i think i probably have seen the astras. I definately remember a z-let in one, but there are that many awesome cars at the shows now its hard to remember them all. If i saw a pic id know them then more than likely
